explain how routing loops can be produced and the associated drawbacks.
describe the various methods of avoiding routing loops including split horizon and poison reverse.
explain the concept of an autonomous system.
describe the use and operation of the link state routing protocol, OSPF.
compare the facilities and benefits of OSPF with those of RIP.
describe the hierarchical routing and traffic engineering facilities offered by the link state routing protocol, OSPF.
describe the operation and facilities of the EIGRP routing protocol.
explain how EIGRP discovers feasible alternative paths in case of network faults.
compare the facilities of EIGRP with those of OSPF including fault recovery.
