What does this mean?

 

Target audience:

This e-learning course is intended for technical staff involved in the planning, provisioning, and maintenance of Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) broadband connections. 

 

Course prerequisites:

An understanding of the basic principles of digital subscriber line (DSL) transmission. We suggest that the PTT online course "Next generation access networks" is completed before attempting this course
An understanding of the use and operation of Internet protocols would also be an advantage. We suggest that the PTT course "IP networks and the Internet" is completed before attempting this course.

An understanding of the principles and role of the Ethernet protocols in local and wide area networks would also be an advantage. We suggest that the PTT courses "Ethernet networks" and "Advanced Ethernet networks" are completed before attempting this course.

Delivery platform requirements:
