This course is aimed at people, perhaps new to telecoms, who need an introduction to modern telecoms services.
The course is designed to be studied with the other courses in the StarTel suite. Alternatively, this course can be studied as a standalone solution for non-technical personnel such as sales and marketing staff who require an appreciation of modern telecoms services.

Basic components and features of the ISDN.
Applications and features of public X25, Frame Relay and ATM services.
Accessing the Internet inc. ADSL and coax cable modems.
Introduction to the Internet inc. role of ISPs and NSPs; WAP based services.
Introduction to GSM mobile radio networks and services.
Introduction to Third Generation (3G) mobile services.
